So, whatโs Schumer doing right now?
If youโve historically been a โvote blue no matter whoโ type, itโd be cool if you could use this moment to understand why vilifying leftists who actually do think it matters is basically a psyop you accidentally fell for. This is why people warn you about guys like Newsom.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
If Dems accept this deal, it will help the GOP cement the following ideas into the public conscience over the coming 4 weeks:
-Shutdown was Dems fault/responsibility
-They did it for nothing
-They caved to Trump
Having accepted responsibility, it will also cripple them in the follow up debate.
My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.
We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.
We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

10.11.2025 02:11 โ ๐ 139 ๐ 33 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.

Every single Democratic senator that votes to cave on this should be immediately ejected from the party, and the national party should immediately start running primary candidates in their districts.
There is no bipartisanship possible with traitors and fascists. You either fight, or die.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where heโs advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing itโs a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
