Ordered the new mono reissue of Odessey & Oracle and picked up a copy of the Beacon Street Union's The Clown Died In Marvin Gardens. I don't think BSU has enough good material to warrant 2 LPs in 12 months. Someone sticking their best stuff (which is very good) on a 10" mini-LP would be very cool.

The transitions between tracks aren't as good as the stereo but the tracks themselves sound superior. At least to my ears.

I think it's harder with games as you're less likely to replay them. If I don't "get" an album I can revisit much more easily.

I was underwhelmed by this initially - I think because it was hyped up so much by friends desperate for me to hear it. It's grown into a real favourite now. Although I still think Marriott's backing vocals are a little incongruous.
