with inflation there can a decrease in consumerism which can be one of the factors contributing to recession. High inflation can be a decrease of birth rates & no babies no future consumers.

Recent inflation of cost of living & unemployment shows us that we need to be prepared. Especially the little people. If we think back to Covid, & the chaos it created. It tells us that majority of people are not prepared to a widespread pandemic. I think this should be talked about more.

It’s crazy how we compare prices of products from other decades but rarely see the equivalent value & don’t consider other factors. As well inflation and different lifestyles. Classism always existed & there wasn’t a decade where everyone had it good. #inflation #equivalentvalue #Classism #costs

I brought two books from a second hand bookshop, both were published in the 70s.
During that time, one was £1.50 & the other one was £1.25 Nowadays it seems like a good price but the equivalent value is roughly over £10. Which means it’s roughly the same value as today #book #inflation #70s
