nice, i was on the beach last night as we took it! the arc build whips ass on all fronts, people really underestimate the arc thrower. me and some buds all ran the build on oshuane the other day and by the end of the mission we all had nearly 1k kills. undefeated crowd control weapon.

i’ve been a busy wren

they are such sweet, gentle, and beautiful creatures, great pollinators, natural pest control. always welcome in my garden and near my home.

the wasps on the nest didn’t mind me picking it up and moving it at all. i did eventually get stung when trying to get the remaining wasps at the pipe into a cup so i could show them the new nest site, but they were highly agitated by that point. it barely hurt and went away after an hour.

even though you could walk right by it and they’d never even threaten you, some asshole knocked it down with a rock. i tried to rescue the mostly intact nest by relocating it to a more secluded spot and gluing it to an anchor with superglue.

paper wasps are so docile and it makes me so upset that people are so frightened of them and destroy their nests. recently went through a saga with a colony at a local bookstore where they had built a nest on a pipe right next to a sidewalk.
