& somehow companies like Paramount have money ($150M) to buy publications like The Free Press while claiming there’s no money to fairly pay actual journalists

perhaps the biggest story TFPever ran was a catastrophically shoddy argument that George Floyd ackshully died of an overdose. When confronted with irrefutable evidence that the piece was simply wrong, Weiss didn’t take it down, she asked her critic, @radleybalko.bsky.social, to come on a podcast.

I have talked to CBS staffers who are worried about what will happen when they have a major story

I think most Americans would look at this and say, No I don’t want this kind of thing happening every day in the United States

I think most reasonable people can agree that the level of force used here is overly aggressive and generally unhinged.

One more thing...the amount of money that was wasted to fly in generals from across the globe for a political rally is appalling. Further evidence that Trump thinks of this as his personal military. This action alone should be enough for him to be impeached.

Also strange to hear someone talk about standards and qualifications in such a righteous way — who himself is deeply unqualified for the position he holds

Must be weird for high-ranking flag officers (admirals, generals) with decades of experience in the armed forces to be lectured about war by a Pentagon secretary with much much less military experience and a president with zero military service
