It’s because of the wide income concentration at the top due to industry consolidation eliminating real competition (leaving workers little bargaining power), and regulatory capture; folks at the bottom can “survive”, but they are making the rational choice to have fewer/no children in such a world

Hey websites: If I’m smart enough to know how to copy and paste from the “email” to the “confirm email” fields, I’m smart enough to know that what I’m copying and pasting is correct. Disabling pasting in the “confirm email” field just pisses me off.

Back in the early 90s businesses were convinced you wouldn‘t need programmers any more because business users could just drag and drop code modules and have a working app. I don’t think AI is going to replace the need for smart tech people like a lot of businesses think/hope.

@kagi.com I know it’s not easy to detect AI generated content, but it does clog up the search results and it would be a great value-add to give an option to filter pages where the majority of the content is suspected to be AI generated. I just hate that sinking feeling as I realize a page is AI slop

I think I might start adding “before December 2022” to any search that isn’t time related, to try to filter out all the AI slop I’m seeing in search results now

It was never about citizens vs. non-citizens. It was always about whites vs. non-whites, re-asserting white power and reducing the number of non-whites.

I realize stickers are a fairly passive action of resistance, but, I want to continue to encourage others in their anti-ICE fight. This is one avenue at my disposal.

With that in mind, here are brand new stickers (the Icee ones were printed by me but not created by me). Who wants some?
