Some of the most dangerous and racist white people in this country have been the ones trying to tell you to abandon red states and turn against the most at risk in society all so they can maintain their power without doing anything to stop the actual systems of oppression they maintained and built.

I'm honestly scared shitless about everything happening in this country and I have no idea where it goes but I am heartened to see normal people standing up for each other and having each other's backs while our government and our party are allowing us to be overrun by fascism and siding with them

Yeah, this is why I haven’t engaged with social media until recently. My self image was far too susceptible to this kinda shit. Gotten better as I’ve gotten older but I had to remove myself from trying to form community online because of how insidious it was, even early on.
