I see by Trump declaring war on Portland he turned what was a protest at ICE that almost never exceeds a dozen into an event with hundreds.

One thing people have learned from Trump is to always create absolutely over the top push back to even minor criticism. It is a fine overview of the main political dynamics in Portland for people who don't live in Oregon.

Trump really really wants political violence in the street and he is doing everything possible to make the federal government generate it since it wasn't happening organically.
