I got the old diabetes check a few years ago and the nurse having checked my status as a large unit said
“And as expected its… oh… fine…”

Also had an ECG done accompanied by a “well that’s unexpectedly good”

A couple of years ago (after same beer festival) I was stood on Victoria platform for best part of 2 hours, swaying a lot amongst a load of RL fans who’d been at a big match as about 4 trains got cancelled. How I never wet myself or fell on the tracks is a miracle

Dear Mancunians (and Salfordians) why on earth are hotel rooms in Manchester so freaking expensive? One day I’d like to go to the best beer festival around without risking disaster on the rattler back to Yorkshire..,,

Early Saturday session is usually *plenty*…….(one day I’ll spring the ridiculous hotel cost rather than training it back to GoC)
