My ebike gave me back a lot of the freedom I had lost over the last two years thanks to long COVID.

I tried the burnt end tacos, squash donuts, and the roasted carrot entree last night. All were good, but the tacos were my favorite.

Also had the biscuit bread pudding for dessert, and that was pretty underwhelming.

As a local Jew about town I follow their facebook page—when they posted this story I responded to say how disappointed I was in the community’s response. The replies to me were not only heartless, but also vile—I was called a Nazi sympathizer and told I didn’t deserve to call myself a Jew.

I’m in 7-10 and would be happy to join wards 10 or 6. I badly want out of 7, though.

I saw two practitioners this week (a PT and an OT) who were unfamiliar with the concept of PEM. It is so exhausting to have to educate/push back.

Same! I used to bike a lot pre-LC, then basically had to take 2 years off until I got my ebike. It has made an enormous difference to my mental health and sense of freedom.

My first car was a 1990 Dodge Dynasty. After a month of ownership the transmission went out, and anytime I went over 25ish mph it started bucking violently. I stuck to side streets and frequently had to pull over and wave faster drivers by.

My long term disability claim for long COVID was denied today (through private insurance, not SSDI) and I’m feeling beyond despondent. Any other long COVID/chronic illness folks have tips for appealing or reasons I should be hopeful?

I did a double take on that, too. I had to check her website, because I don’t remember hearing about any labor endorsements. Her only labor endorsement is NCSRCC, which doesn’t appear to even have a Minneapolis chapter.

I’m going to guess Mandelbrot and babka are among them?
