This is a fully independent animated feature film done with blender. Production budget of about 35k out of pocket with animation by me. Post-Production budget of around 100k thanks to kickstarter. Total budget: 135k. Even this release is indie with me trying to figure out it out! 3 years to complete

Thats fine. its hardly a game breaker or anything, Could have been far worse, like I said I enjoy it all as individual parts, but as a total package I just found it to be to idealistic and jarring when going up against the new world building. Still a really special game

Which just doesn't exist in Rebirth. Its to clean. There's a very sharp line and as long as your not an Executive your completely in the clear, which flattens it to much for me, especially when so much is done with the World building going the opposite way

Thats sort of what I mean, to be clear everyone I mentioned, the girls etc. In a vaccum I actively like basically all of them. Its when I think about them all together that I have an issue. Because again no evil regime in history gets anywhere without plenty of fully bought peons who reveal in it

No evil empire/corporation in history has ever gotten anywhere with just the head honchos, willing enablers exist at every level, they have to. I just wish the game had more variety between Shinra people who are stuck with no choice and those that reveal in it. The latter just not existing is goofy

Its not that there are altruists working there, its that EVERY relevant NPC that isnt a board member is one. Like again, even the guy who doesnt like working in Nibelheim is still willing to help for no gain. There's no friction at all. It's just as cartoonish as them all being evil would be

Nibelheim, Midagar 7th, there commander, Middle Manager, Roach, Hojo's girls, every part of the company that isnt the Board members is actually a swell person in Rebirth. Which I feel undermines Shinra's evil. No evil Org gets that far with just its leaders. Vile middleman exist in every regime
