Okay, besides all that, what has the European Court of Human Rights ever done for us?

A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK...
78% are murdered by a partner/ex
Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this
Not once have I heard them back measures to protect womenβs safety
In fact, they voted against them...
REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE. CHILD POVERTY IS A POLITICAL CHOICE Green Party Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ
Almost 100% of children in 73 neighbourhoods in England are living in income-deprived families.
Labour could choose to lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty immediately by scrapping the two-child benefit cap.
Child poverty is a political choice.
Solidarity with my colleague Mothin, who experiences frequent and appalling racist abuse.
Out and out racism is alive and well in this country. And its perpetrators are emboldened every day that politicians and journalists describe immigrants as an invasion, a swarm, or a flood.
Lovely Autumn day in all of Birminghamβs great parks. More trees than Paris so they say. But Paris does admittedly have other attractions like the Seine and that cycling wheeling Network

This would place Britain in a tiny club of non-members with Russia and Belarus.
Belarus has never been in the ECHR and is a loyal ally of the Kremlin.
Russia was expelled from the ECHR after invading Ukraine.

Screenshot of a Telegraph news article titled βHome Office βshould be split upβ after migrant hotels fiasco.β The subheading reads: βChairman of the Commons home affairs committee says government department is βnot fit for purpose.ββ
Cover page of a report titled βNo Way Home? It is time to remove management of immigration from the Home Office.β The cover has a green background with white text. The report is by Zoe Gardner, commissioned by Carla Denyer MP, dated June 2025.
More and more people are saying it: the Home Office is not fit for purpose and should be broken up, so migration can be dealt with by a department designed to make the system actually work for all of us.

The first thing we should Renationalise is the Government.
MPs should not receive a penny from any 'donors', they should work only for you.
Jamaicans have done very little to cause the climate emergency creating storms of the strength of Melissa, yet it's their lives that have been hanging in the balance. We must help them recover and then act on rapidly decreasing global emissions immediately! www.theguardian.com/world/2025/o...

We need to keep working and growing but I believe a change is gonna come
When Theresa May is offering a more convincing critique of Reform than either Labour or the Tories, you know that the Overton Window in this country has already exited stage right, pursued by the old political parties.

The government are reportedly planning on moving some asylum seekers from hotels to military bases...
How about, rather than shipping a few hundred people off to military sites, we let asylum seekers work and contribute to our society and fix our broken asylum system? π€
Green Party graphic featuring Natalie Bennettβs quote. The background shows a child on a swing in a park at sunset, with warm light filtering through trees. Today I plan to ask the House of Lordsβ planning decisions to take account of that, with a βplay sufficiencyβ amendment β promoted by Play England β to the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. We need to build healthy communities, not just housing.β Natalie Bennettβs name and title, Green Party Peer, appear at the bottom alongside the Green Party logo.
Healthy communities need safe, accessible spaces where children can play.
Today Iβm asking the government to ensure our planning system makes space for play in housing developments.

The Green Party is clear - time to tax wealth, not work.
