Supes being an immigrant / alien has been featured in SO MANY stories. Only people with a very shallow understanding of the character can consider that fact as a "controversial hot take". Unfortunately, there are more than enough people that fit the bill :(

Panel 1: Die erste Hummel sagt: „Gestern habe ich einen T-Rex gekuschelt!“ Die zweite Hummel antwortet: „Dinosaurier sind ausgestorben...“ Panel 2: Die erste Hummel meint: „Kein Grund, sie nicht zu kuscheln! Als nächstes will ich den Mond kuscheln.“ Die zweite Hummel sagt: „Geht nicht, der Mond ist zu weit weg und steinhart.“ Panel 3: Die erste Hummel schlägt vor: „Vielleicht ist der Mond eine flauschige Hummel, die um die Erde fliegt?“ Die zweite Hummel entgegnet: „Nee. At least for the SPIEL ESSEN, cash is stil a viable option. Many younger germans prefer cashless payments, yes. But we are also used to businesses only accepting cash.
