The Runnymede Trust, which in September published Reparations, a report offering a blueprint for reparative justice, said King Charles offering an apology would be “a welcome, symbolic first step”, but must be supported by action.

Looking forward to it, I was lucky to see one in Scotland once.

I was a teenager when I saw David Bowie at Aylesbury on the Ziggy Stardust tour. I went with my friend Steve who had bright green hair and platform boots.
I next saw him at Earls Court in 1978.
He was an inspiration, a courageous and vibrant artist who made it ok to be different.
