Gorgeous walk on Cissbury Ring, so many #wildflowers - toadflax and lesser knapweed, wild parsnip.
Visited the oak on the summit which spreads its branches wide, one or two have grown to 50-60 foot horizontally which seems amazing!

Northumberland Wildlife Trust has been working to see if the wild cats, which became extinct in Britain about 1,300 years ago as a result of hunting and habitat loss, could be returned to the area.

Whale dies after collision with small boat off New Jersey shore A minke whale has died off the New Jersey shore after colliding with a small boat. The incident occurred Saturday in Barnegat Bay and the impact nearly tipped the boat and threw a person overboard.

They did that “person collided with car and died” thing, but in the ocean.

No, the whale didn’t collide with a boat. A person driving a boat hit a whale and killed it.

They’re beautiful!

It's a big number - 25.9 million - but it's far less than the reality

It points to widespread rule-breaking by shooting estates failing to register:
