Just at a browse, wow, it actually does look like a horror film in the style of 90s Disney, I need to check that out.

I actually forgot that was today. The worst that happened was getting called in on my day off.

I honestly wonder if heavy metal inspired some of Menken and Schwartz's work on Hellfire given how much of it and the concept art looks like metal album covers. Same with Savages honestly.

I think the altered version was trying to sound like an off-key playing of Stairway, but the problem is that even off-key singing or instrumentals are still recognisable!

The joke is that Stairway to Heaven is EXTREMELY overplayed in guitar shops, and more often than not, horribly! To the point where those signs ACTUALLY EXIST!

Finished Normal People last night, and between this, Aftersun, and Hamnet, if Paul Mescal is somehow trying to make my depressed autistic ass feel seen, thank you, BUT STOP IT!

I'm kidding, he makes good choices, but still...

To say nothing of Orlando Bloom's cameo (can't find a clip), the heartthrob being a douche has been done to death even in the late 2000s, but he really commits to the bit.
He's better than he's given credit for, it's just his co-stars tend to have stronger presence, but he really goes to town here.

Like Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, people are throwing a hissy fit over Zendaya and Lupita Nyong'o, potentially Elliott Page too, when everything about it clearly looks like it'll be good or bad on Nolan's merits just like his previous work.

Yeezus was... okay, but I know what you mean.

Hell, I still like The Office UK and Extras in spite of Ricky Gervais being a douche, honestly I think Extras is the best one, mostly because it feels like someone sat him down and said, "Look you need to let other people get a good joke in."

If it's all the same, Jeremy Adler just used the one I could've used, haha. Nearly all of these so far have been my substitute for the "Ryan-coded characters" thing, (couldn't pick just 4) and Heinz Doofenshmirtz at least has the self awareness of how much of a mess he is compared to Hamlet!

I've yet to meet ANYONE who considers Kid Rock good, he feels like the textbook definition of over the hill musician!

The body language of puppetry whether it's handheld like the Muppets or Sooty, or stop motion like Wallace & Gromit, Paddington, the Wombles or Postman Pat doesn't get talked about enough, and it's a marvel seeing Henson do it with Kermit like it's second nature.

Is it too late to get in? Not sure how I missed it.

That we took the Renaissance Era of Animation for granted, that even when we were getting stuff like Batman, Gargoyles, DuckTales, Simpsons, Animaniacs, they were always scrutinized by executives or controlling parents who were looking for an excuse to pull a plug on the experiments.
