Happy Birthday Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born January 27, 1756.
I got us tickets to see the S.F. Symphony play the soundtrack to Amadeus a month before we would be in Vienna, Austria together.
In Vienna, we caught a performance by Mozart Ensemble in the oldest concert hall in Vienna: Sala Terrena.

January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and this year marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
A ceremony was held this morning at the Holocaust Memorial at the Legion of Honor in S.F. Here CA Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis (in white coat on the right) is speaking.

First post here. I can’t tell if it’s possible to edit after posting, and the character count had me cut-off most of what I was trying to say here, but alas. I guess it makes sense when comparing it to Twitter, but not a good replacement for FB or IG, in my opinion.

I happened to see the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch Friday morning. I was at the Sonoma Raceway, some 250+ miles north of Vandenberg AFB, and didn’t even know it was happening, but then there it was.
