RIP Jane Goodall. There's so much to say about her career, her activism, her science. Primatology was the home of so many bigoted approaches to race, gender, and animality when she arrived and the field became more humane because of her. A truly transformative figure.

I've only watched a kid crafting something years ago, so I know the basic idea of arranging the material to look like the item you're making, but I had to go to the Minecraft wiki to figure out this one

Life hack: if you add a simple heating element to the collection bucket, it dries that up for you so you never have to empty it!

Totally. I have a pendulum swing between listening to a lot of podcasts or audio books and listening to a lot of music, but either one has to displace the other

You telling me the moon factory's been in Chicago the whole time?

A phone photo of tonight's lunar eclipse. The moon looks like a tiny marble since it's a wide lense. It is heading toward totality, so there is still a crescent of full illumination on the southward side, while the rest is faintly red-orange in colour, illuminated by a thousand sun(sets/rises)

I love it when the moon does something crazy and you see people in all different countries post following the terminator's ceaseless westward march
