My favourite Isis release. The Red Sea song is immense!

Hydrahead releases were almost a guarantee of top quality back then. Very much my jam at the time. Always worth revisiting.

Checking out the latest Soul Jazz comp, Jungalist! All tracks from 1993/95. Still sound as exciting and vital as they did over 30 years ago. Cracking stuff. Booyakasha!

My wonderful little sister died on New Year’s Day, aged 42. A botched operation led to irreparable brain damage. After a three week coma, her ventilator was removed and she passed away in minutes surrounded by her loved ones. Still heartbroken and it feels very surreal. What a world!
