On this non-Thanksgiving, I am grateful for all of the bloomfs on here who manage to walk and chew gum, meaning be invested in silly reality (competition) shows but still aware of the actual real life insanity we live in.

I legit think Probst just LOVES his new era cult following. Thus also the hard line of kicking out whoever was communicating pre-season.

Casting two people from S49 onto S50 would have been a horrible call under any circumstances, but listening to podcasters in the past weeks do their utmost to tapdance around what they definitely know is just painful, sorry.

Fair point. Blood vs Water was ROUGH. But so was S01 with all of its mateship until Kristie saved us all with that spectacular finale.

And S01 is widely considered to be the worst of the modern AU seasons. Probst is so, so lost.

The „you have to EARN everything“-stance is 100% designed to prove that the shorter season is still as hard or even harder. But since he is making a TV show, he has painted himself into a corner because his legit starving cast are falling apart and aren’t capable of playing the complicated game. A+.

And also: the only way to get these people to play was a possible invitation to the NEXT season.
