Contrast this with the video I just posted of Americans standing in food lines this weekend, in the rain and cold.

Don't have to wonder where the SNAP funds are.

As a former chef, I can’t shake how much the β€œcorporate Thanksgiving meal deal” bothers me. A promo kit isn’t care, it’s cost-cutting. Food is about dignity, especially on a holiday, not the cheapest possible option. (1/3)

It's worth noting that Elons trillion dollar package is contingent on sales goals and appears to be all stock so people could just not buy anything from them

It's still so weird to me that the idea of universal healthcare is so political here. It's a given in so many other places, and I miss it. And people don't realize how good it is for innovation. You can take so many more risks when your health and well-being aren't tied to a salaried employer.

Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways:

First, the obvious: Higher costs β†’ either lower profits or higher prices.

Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): We’ve signaled we’re an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.

Millions of Americans are facing a real crisis if Congress doesn’t extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

Every week, more families tell us they’re scared they won’t be able to afford health care. What we’re hearing.πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ§΅

As someone who has managed to not cross a picket line even when it was nearly all the grocery stores in the metro area on strike, really don't wanna hear anyone talking about how they just HAVE to cross the Starbucks picket line. This is like the easiest solidarity ever.

Gonna deliver 10 dozen fresh eggs to the local food bank, and a box full of canned goods and hygene products. I am good with helping those in need. I am FURIOUS that this Orange REICH has STOLEN my taxes to help other countries and the oligarchs.😑😑😑

No. You don't get to pretend it's the Dems' fault when the GOP President of the United States just went all the way to the SUPREME COURT to keep food away from poor people. FULL stop.

Could Mack Butler, former director of football operations at Oklahoma State University, have pulled strings for his son?

In a slap in the face to survivors everywhere, an 18-year-old Oklahoma star athlete & son of a well-known & connected father has skirted accountability for multiple ... crimes of rape & strangulation. Bessent shamelessly lies: "Inflation came down in April for the first time in four years under President Trump...Walmart came out yesterday and said the Thanksgiving meal is 25% less." (Inflation fell steadily in the last two years of the Biden administration and Walmart is making the meals smaller)

Maths...

If you make $100,000 a year (not bad), it will take you 10 MILLION years to earn a trillion dollars.

If you make a million dollars a year (wow!), it'll still take you a million years to earn a trillion dollars.

Tax the rich.

Farmers' Almanac Says It Will Cease Publication After 208 Years, Citing Financial Challenges The publication cited financial challenges and a "chaotic media environment" in reasons for its closure.

The Farmer's Almanac is a treasure. Both my grandparents and my mother always had one, every single year. I still look up things online in the Farmer's Almanac. This is so sad. 208 years. Is there any other magazine publication that's been printed for two centuries? www.huffpost.com/entry/farmer...

TRUMP: β€œOur groceries are way down (not true). Everything is way down (not true). Thanksgiving meals 25% down (not true). So I don't want to hear about affordability.”

He’s trying to lie his way through it.
