Samir Zitouni a Muslim Immigrant from Algeria left hospital today, 2 weeks after being the first person to try stop the attack in Huntingdon train attack.

They won't want to talk about this immigrant.

Don Farrell asked why after all this time, the #NACC still hasn’t made any major findings of corruption.
β€œThat’s an indication that the system is working. There is no corruption, & I say that's a good thing!”

Appalling response. It doesn’t even make sense. Makes my blood boil.

Anti-corruption commission watchdog inquiring into NACC chief Brereton The inspector of the National Anti-Corruption Commission is inquiring into the agency's head, Paul Brereton, in relation to several complaints including from a former employee.

How much longer is this farce of a sideshow going to continue?

NACC Commissioner, Paul Brereton, is once again embroiled in controversy.

The NACC Inspector, Gail Furness is currently investigating several complaints against Mr Brereton.

His position is untenable.

The duopoly just joined forces in the Senate to vote down an #AUKUS inquiry. Never mind the political, technical & management risks associated with the program, or the $365B price tag - the two major parties are happy sleepwalking with your national security and money. #auspol

This person, in total sincerity, is celebrating the murder of a six-year-old girl, on the basis of her identity as a Palestinian. Will you see any journalist hound them, run a smear campaign as they have done to me and other Palestinians expressing entire tame opinions?

This is what UNBEARABLE agony looks like.
Who knows for what reason this poor man was taken hostage - along with 1000s of other Palestinians - but we can easily imagine how his torment is compounded on learning that his wife and CHILDREN were murdered by the same brute forces that held him captive.

If you’re interested in the strength of our democracy, this is worth a read.

Labor & the Coalition rammed electoral reform laws through parliament to make it harder for minor parties & indies.

Now there's a bill to reduce transparency in the FOI system.

Is anything illegal anymore? Corruption, genocide, murder, international pedophile rings, missile strikes here there and everywhere. The only things people seem to get locked up for nowadays is being from Mexico or being an 80-year-old Quaker from the UK that says Free Palestine

Senate inquiry hears home care wait lists hit 200k, people die waiting Pressure mounts on the government following damning Senate Inquiry.

Yesterday I chaired a Senate inquiry hearing into the aged care system. The findings are SHOCKING.

No new home care packages have been released since June and the govt admitted that 121,000 people are waiting to get on the waitlist. That's on top of the 87,000 actually on the waitlist.

Similar thought process. I saw the 10,000 figure and thought of test matches at Bellerive Oval I’d been to, compared to MCG Ashes tests and today’s crowd felt more like MCG numbers. Same feeling of endless streams of people.

β€˜I risked everything’: remembering six media workers killed by Israel in Gaza CJP says the period since 7 October 2023 has been the most deadly for journalists since it began gathering data in 1992 Journalists have been prominent among casualties since the war in Gaza was triggered by Hamas’s incursion into Israel in October 2023. Some were working for well-known international media, others were employed by local news organisations. Several were high-profile veterans, but many were newcomers to the profession. 'Now, there's nothing stopping them': Settlers trying new forms of intimidation In the Jordan Valley in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, teenage shepherds escorted by armed security guards are trying to push Palestinian villagers from their farms.

Hey ABC - can we stop calling them "settlers", which sounds like a benign homesteading movement.

As Israeli human rights groups themselves say, those Israelis trying to displace Palestinians in the #WestBank are terrorists:
state-sanctioned terrorists. #StopIsrael

One Last Swipe: Australian Taxation Office still punishing whistleblower Richard Boyle - Michael West Richard Boyle argues he shouldn’t have a conviction recorded against his name for blowing the whistle. The ATO thinks otherwise.

Last year the ATO exercised its discretion to forgive $800M of tax debt owed by 301 taxpayers (on average $2.6M each). But no such β€˜love’ was being shared with ATO whistleblower Richard Boyle in the SA District Court today. #hero #integrity #auspol
