Republicans of course have an easier game at the moment. They can go from one day saying "Tariffs are absolutely necessary no matter what" to the next "Of course tariffs were just a negotiating tactic" etc etc etc because they are in a cult.

We do not have a cult leader in the Democratic Party, so all decisions are necessarily more difficult. They have to consider the diverse interests of our big tents as well as current realities.

I am sometimes disappointed in my fellow Democrats' choices, but if you're a Democrat who criticizes other Democrats for failing purity tests more than you criticize Republicans for being horrible on every issue, honestly I think you too have fallen victim of Russian propaganda.
