I am also fairly online and familiar with most new slang too, which helps! But they generate such interesting lists every year

we do it as part of designing a research experiment and I do remind them it needs to be class appropriate but mainly I just ask them for "slang word + definition" and let them cook (as they say)

making my students generate lists of slang is alwayssssss my favorite class
