Pharmacy called to say the have no more RubefinSR - one of the main meds for ADHD. As in, there are no supplies in NZ. Might come in March, maybe. I have some…but not enough. So now I need to ration, or try something else (with different side effects).

Facing the death of my last tie to my paternal side of my family and I realise how few of the family’s stories I really know. It’s actually quite sad and a reminder, yet again, of the importance of storytelling.

While I love taking photos of all sorts of things, maternity is by far my favourite. If I could run a business just taking maternity portraits, I would.

This month, my last surviving grandparent (grandmother) was told she has to go into hospice (lung cancer) and my stepdad was told he probably has prostate cancer. Both in South Africa’s struggling health system. How’s your 2025 so far?
