Did you know that London has the lowest level of ethnic violence of any city of comparable size in the world?
Multiculturalism has in fact worked here. They just donβt want it to be true because we happen to have a Muslim mayor.
Exeter Sound Walks
Iβm thinking of leading Sound Walks in Exeter every couple of months from October.
Listening together through the seasons is intriguing and revealing. I love it.
If this appeals to you, please send me a sentence of support. This will help me raise some funds for the series.

A box headed "Reason for name choice(s) (optional) has been filled out: "In recognition of the outstanding contribution made by these fossil fuel giants to the extreme weather we're seeing as a result of climate change, with storms, floods and heat waves devastating communities across the world."
It gets worse - apparently some people have been adding comments like this when explaining their reason for proposing #StormBP, #StormEquinor, #StormExxon, #StormShell and #StormBigOil on this Met Office form: www.metoffice.gov.uk/forms/name-o...
25.06.2025 16:20 β π 47 π 11 π¬ 3 π 0Screenshot of form on the UK Met Office website. Text reads: "You can provide up to 5 storm names in the boxes below. Storm Name: [a user has filled this in with "BigOil"] Storm Name (optional): [filled in with BP] Storm Name (optional): [filled in with Equinor] Storm Name (optional): [filled in with Exxon] Storm Name (optional): [filled in with Shell]
So the UK Met Office is inviting people to suggest up to 5 names for storms.
And apparently lots of people have been suggesting "Storm Bigoil", along with BP, Equinor, Exxon & Shell...
This is obviously appalling & definitely not to be emulated via this link: www.metoffice.gov.uk/forms/name-o...
