- 0.5 hours synchronizing our mod lists
- 2 hours getting my steam deck and her PC on the same patch version

Well there it is… day 1…

Between all the X stuff, and TikTok shutting down, and all the Meta platform changes - I’m immensely grateful that Bluesky came along when it did.

I’m not on the platform but it sounds like some people have been banned for it, but it’s not being aggressively done. Time will tell I guess.

Hmm I suppose that’s good. I’m not sure relying on them not enforcing their own rules is a great foundation to build community on though.

Kind of sad to see RedNote as the #1 app. I’m glad TikTok refugees are enjoying it but do they not care that their queer friends cannot join them because LGBT content is not allowed? I don’t think this is a step forward yall.

Things are going to get *very* messy if SCOTUS upholds the ban in US vs Skrmetti. It will be permission for red state legislatures to keep infringing on private medical care not just for trans people but for all women.

So if AI produces new content that is generally of lower quality than the material it was trained on… what happens in future iterations of GPT when it’s trained on an internet saturated in low quality AI generated content and it’s getting high off its own supply? Genuinely curious.
