ICE agents raid South Shore apartments; Trump says Chicago could become military training ground ICE agents raided a South Shore apartment building overnight as the city braces for a possible military deployment.

“ABC7 spoke to Pertissue Fisher, a woman who lives in the building. She said ICE agents took everyone in the building, including her, and asked questions later….’They was bringing the kids down, too, had them zip tied to each other.’”

Went for my covid and flu vaccine appointment today and to my surprise there was a wait.
There was a steady stream of people coming in for both vaccines.
I didn’t even mind the wait.
It felt like hope.

So I used AI to reimagine it with the full palliative care team on board.

To remove vaccines from ACIP guidelines, which seems to be the end goal here, is effectively a ban. If a vaccine is not recommended, Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance can refuse to cover it. Few people can afford to pay for the cost out of pocket.

Whatever *kind* of family I try to go in open minded & help to the best of my ability, as we all should.

I went to a Dr’s appt with a loved one today & that person disclosed that I was a doc. Just on that alone we may have been pegged as a difficult consult / had assumptions made. 🙈🤔
