We are seeing happen now what Gramsci always knew would happen, a total war of position, in which hegemony is cultural, legal, and political. The destruction of unions, the outlawing of protest, the demonization of 'the other'. They are all the workings of unfettered, unopposed, capitalism.

100% save the world, answer those big questions after you have the PhD.

A bit over two years. Granted, I ended up having bots and participants who were not eligible infiltrate my study. So, I had to do a lot of work to make sure I was actually recruiting real humans who were actually eligible to participate, but even without that, it was a lot.

Yes and I do not recommend. Not that it didn't go well and I didn't enjoy it but it's very time consuming and for a PhD, in my opinion, just too much.

Not me over here carrying my naturalization papers with me everywhere I go.

Thinking and worrying about your dissertation 24/7 is the same thing as writing it, right?
