Buffy and I started college the same year, which ironically means I didn't have enough time to watch most of that season until years later. But I remember the thrill that the cast was walking that campus at roughly the same time I was.

I can do the Leo pointing meme at so many shows and movies (Alias, Legally Blonde, etc) filmed on campus, but Buffy is the only one I've watched that really kind of LIVES there. I feel like I've just been back!

Is there a rights issue with showing the art on film? Or maybe those areas are just too identifiable to use as a stand-in for another school? Though it's not like it's not obviously UCLA every time they show the red brick of Royce Hall and the other older buildings on campus

I went there too and just finished rewatching s4 and also was absolutely steamrolled by weird college nostalgia this time around! I have memories in so many of the locations— e.g. they killed Pedro Pascal in the Sculpture Garden where I used to hang out between classes. It's a very bizarre feeling!

Honestly those bangs are so perturbingly awful that they undermine some very serious and otherwise excellent moments in that episode. Jen in Dawson's Creek Season 6 suffered from the same affliction for longer. But I was able to headcanon her microbangs as a character-consistent impulse haircut.

Did you get the mRNA or Novavax? Many people report fewer side effects overall with the Novavax. It hit me roughly the same as mRNA, but everyone else I know who had it just had a little arm soreness but none of the fatigue & malaise.
