We has lost a dedicated community leader in Mrs. Grace Lawrence. For decades, she poured her heart into East Elmhurst & Corona, leading civic groups, strengthening our neighborhoods, and championing institutions like the Langston Hughes Library. Queens will remember her.

We are heartbroken to learn that Kevin Mares, a beloved son of East Elmhurst, was killed while visiting Puerto Rico.
