Here’s hoping. The cloud versions are famously patchy, it would be a shame for them to leave the series’ representation on Nintendo in this way. It would be a nice gesture ahead of IV also which surely will also come to the platform

Here’s hoping for those Kingdom Hearts native ports from the recent rumours 🤞🏻 It will be interesting to see what third parties are arriving this early in the Switch 2 lifecycle - and indeed what will still come to Switch 1

Following the Animal Crossing update, using the L button to tighten up your position makes rock tapping nice and accurate, provided you have something blocking you from behind too!

Pro tip: Add a garden shed, mini workbench and compact kitchen outside the new hotel in Animal Crossing to bulk craft the DIY goods.

Metal Gear is an interesting example because Metal Gear Rising was a switch to an action title, which I really enjoyed (it’s one of my favourite games). But Metal Gear Solid V I still haven’t played because the depth of the gameplay has deepened to a level I worry will require too much patience

I like Pokémon games, I don’t tend to hold them to a strict standard in the sense that I’m ok for them to be the same / familiar, or different. The same applies to all other series’ I’m fond of, such as; Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Mario, Sonic, Animal Crossing & Persona. I’m easy to please haha

I have finished my goals in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

- Pokédex Complete
- All Side Missions
- All Research Tasks
- All Colourful Screws

This will be it, I may dabble with any upcoming events and I probably will play the DLC. I don’t have any particularly unique takes to offer, I had a good time!

A great little title bar the baffling decision to not include local 4-player multiplayer

Not a bad shout, but like Sora’s Smash Bros. appearance it would feel flat without the Disney touch that is part of the series’ DNA

The Switch 2 has been a great way to revisit my existing library. The community around the games have lots of great advice for good loadouts to help you power through gathering the sheer amount of collectibles too 👊🏻

I recently revisited the original, fell back in love with the gameplay loop and collected all the weapons.

I’ve still so much to do but I have had to step away again because of fatigue. I’m keen to play the others when they hit sales, I was relieved to read they’re adjusted to aid the repetition

I would like a Kingdom Hearts X Warriors game. I know it would be a logistical nightmare, but the series also is stacked with interesting characters and weapons. It would also take the pressure off the main studio between the big numbered titles which I imagine have become development behemoths

I hope when it’s time to move forward with another all-new instalment, they take a logical step and make the entire ganeworld fully-3D. Another art-style In the current formula doesn’t feel like enough of a change, despite how much I do like what New Horizons offered against the previous aesthetic

Exciting news! Highlights of mine include;

- New hotel expansion
- 3 extra islands to customise that support multiplayer
- Zelda / Splatoon / LEGO Collabs

There’s no reason New Horizons can’t continue to receive even more content either, the Switch 2 version certainly could use a 60/120fps patch

I’m hoping future controllers have a lot more colour. The all-black here is very sleek, but like the console itself, I personally would like to see more creative options

I’m surprised that despite its positive reception and looming release of Metroid Prime 4 that they didn’t pool resources in to bringing in the others. Perhaps a surprise drop of the GameCube version of Prime 2 is possible? I certainly hope the series continues to see adaptations to the Switch / 2

Even a straight up modern rebuild of Adventure would sell, seems like a no-brainer 🤷🏻‍♂️
