I'm of the opinion that a course on "Cold Reading" should be part of High School curriculum. Recognizing how vacuous statements can be made to *appear* meaningful might innoculate folks from all sorts of nonsense - including the LLM kind (which is essentially a form of cold reading).

I have taken to calling myself a "Secular Christian" for the reasons you discuss.
