通常であれば3月は米住宅市場が活気を取り戻す時期なのだが、消費者信頼感指数が落ち込んでるのに加え、モーゲージ金利が下がらず、住宅販売は先の金融危機（リーマンショック）以来最悪の水準。

モーゲージローン金利が下がらない背景として、市場でMBS（Mortgage Backed Securities）が関税への嫌気から債券市場で売り込まれているせいだろうとのこと。

モーゲージ金利とトレジャリー10年債とのスプレッドが拡大している。通常なら現在のモーゲージは6.3％程度になるはずだが、6.8％程度で7％に近づいている。

この大統領令の特徴は、「ジェンダー・イデオロギー」と闘うと宣言していること。そして、その背景にある「反ジェンダー運動」を理解しなければ、この意味を理解することはできません。

社会的に作られた性差としての「ジェンダー」そのものを否定し、「常識」の名の下に抑圧的な家族・性規範を守ろうとする人々の思惑が、この大統領令の背景をなしています。
だからこれは、決してトランスジェンダーだけの問題ではありません。
