Camp no 4 was a POW camp in Thailand at Kanburi (Kanchanaburi). The prisoners served as forced laborers on the Birma Railway.

Here in the Netherlands we used patronymics.

I spent my day researching a girl who became orphan at 8, went to an orphanage in the Netherlands, was sent away to Belgium, walked back and was brought to the orphanage in the Netherlands. She died at 35 being a prostitute. Heartbreaking #GenHour
