#Timex has a 2nd watch in the Atelier line, the GMT 24M1a. 40mm x 12.7 caller-style GMT with fixed internal bezel. 100m vs. 200m resistance for the diver. Love the orange GMT sword hand. At $1450 this is not your dad's Timex

The #Amida Digitrend Open Sapphire felt nice on the wrist but wasn't as blown away as I wanted to be. I liked the reissued original steel better. Still, can't deny it's different.

These watches from #Papar are wild! The Cenote is not your Submariner style diver. Uses the Miyota 9015 with 200m resistance and has a full lume dial (the blue strap model) that really blew me away. On pre-order for $895. (The GMT was interesting too).

Norwegian maker #Straum has one of the more eye-catching collections on the first floor, with its Jan Mayen Titanium collection. The depth of color on the dials needs to be seen in person; they are genuinely beautiful. $2200, but everything is on sale at the show.

Got to try on the #Bremont Terra Nova Jumping Hour and it is an impressive wear. Tons of wrist presence and it has a military field watch vibe. The oversized crown made winding it more fun than most. Super nice folks at the booth too.

The Windup Watch Show NYC did not disappoint! Some memorable pieces including this all tantalum model from #AtelierWen. As heavy as anything I've had on my wrist but in such a wonderful way. Black porcelain dial. Not on the website but about $29k.

#Nomos has 4 new variations of the Tetra "inspired by nature": the Origins. They don't seem to be limited editions! Caliber DUW 4001 classic hand-wound movement. 29.5m square, marketed to women but I think they are unisex. Would wear! Should be about $2800
