This btw is what Trump is apparently like in private he’s very affable, charming and funny - plus he doesn’t really hold personal attacks from elected opponents against them he views it as all part of β€œthe game”. He hates it however when former cabinet members or other public appointees attack him

The Missing Agenda: Plaid Cymru’s Nature Blind Spot Eben Myrddin Muse This weekend Welsh politics is comprehending a new political reality, confirmed by Caerphilly’s electorate – Plaid Cymru are the rising force in Welsh politics, the presumptive gover...

Plaid Cymru has no God-given right to the votes of people who care about nature. To deserve them they must reject the idea that to look out for farmers is to gut regulation and ignore Wales’ environment, because that is a lie ✍️ Eben Myrddin Muse

Yeah that’s gonna be a big problem for Reform in Senedd election in May, their core vote - disillusioned conservatives/ traditional Labour - aren’t that interested in the Senedd and tend not to bother voting in anything apart from GE’s whilst Plaids supporters are obviously very keen on the Senedd

The by election in Caerphilly today (likely Ref win Plaid close 2nd) will probably throw an absolute grenade into all of this - I think Labour are in danger of their vote collapsing due to the anti-Reform deciding to coalesce around Plaid

Ironic really that the only candidate that will immediately spot this is Llyr Powell

Richard Tunnicliffe is the Labour candidate in the Caerphilly.

So a Labour candidate, wants you to vote Labour, to get him elected to a Labour run Senedd, to tell a Labour run council to spend UK Labour provided money to not close libraries that a Labour council are trying to close. Simple.

Between them, Plaid and Reform now account for the majority of votes among all age groups in Wales in our latest Senedd voting intention poll

What is quite ironic here is that for Reform it’s not in their interest for the Tories to completely melt away as it then becomes very difficult for them to get the numbers to form a gov - but with Westminster the opposite is true a total Tory collapse is probs the only way Reform get a majority

Scotland cashed in on Westminster fear. Wales can too. Owen Williams When Scotland voted for the SNP in 2011, the ground shook in Whitehall. For the first time since devolution, the UK State looked at its northern border and spied secession. Suddenly,…

Put simply, a vote for Plaid in 2026 isn’t just a matter of principle. It’s a matter of prosperity. It’s the way we force Westminster to pay attention. It’s the way we unlock the money Wales is owed ✍️Owen Williams

Strong results for the Greens really bodes well for them getting that 2nd Senedd seat with a win in Cardiff West come 2026

This isn’t actually too bad a result for Labour given that Llanrumney is the 2nd poorest ward in Cardiff and one of the least ethnically diverse - it’s 85.5% white - so it’s a real target for Reform

The Battle of Poltava 1709 - Russia decisively defeats Sweden and becomes the dominant military power in Eastern Europe which it still is

But what does a national park even mean? Most of the UKs national parks are glorified farmland covered in sheep and ecological wastelands

Bit of a loaded question really - people may choose the second option because they think of themselves as more intelligent and open minded as opposed to first option which makes you sound partisan and tribal
