Hey Bob I bought two of these based off your recommendation and it seems to work fine with my PS3. Plays digital games, Blu-ray Discs and PS3 games no problem. Is there a specific issue that it has that I’m missing? I have the first PS3 slim hooked up to the switch connected to an LG C3.

I waited in line at Walmart on launch day. I was in college at the time and didn’t have enough cash on me but knew the consoles were going to sell out. So I got the console and put it on LayAway 😆 Paid it off in a week or so whenever I got paid next. Haha the good old days!

40 years!! Crazy to think. My brother and I got ours. Christmas ‘88 with Zelda II The Adventure of Link. It was my first experience with the Zelda series. Needless to say when I discovered the first Zelda game a year or so later, I was taken back by how different the games were. Iconic!

Wouldn’t the better name for this console be the JVC Cross-Eye? You know seeing double and all (Genesis & Sega CD). How did marketing not make this happen?

I think the Spyro trilogy was very solid. Insomniac Games did a great job creating a fun protagonist. Gameplay and graphics were both solid especially considering fully 3D platformers were still in their infancy.

I really hope Nintendo fixes the storage fiasco for their Switch 2 carts. It's gotta be hurting sales for third parties. I think FF7 is 90GB so no other option available other than a game key card for "physical" release.

Can’t believe it’s been 30 years ago yesterday! I remember deciding to rent one right after it lunched at Blockbuster and loved it so much I decided I wasn’t going to wait for the N64 anymore. So many good times with this system.

Commodore 1084 is my go to 15khz CRT. Beautiful picture and more style than a PVM/BVM.

Found these in a Sega lot I picked up at a yard sale. Got them home a realized they both were brand new. Was very surprised!
