I also don't think that a show having a source medium in comics or books is a bad thing!!

I just think that things should be made in the medium that the creator had in mind, and that it's really cool if that medium is comics.

there are people who want to make movies who end up in the comics sphere because they couldn't make it work--possibly due to aforementioned lack of resources-- and there's something deeply irritating about that.

comics and books should not be a fall back medium imo

that being said, if someone wants to pay me money for the rights to my ideas, I am not in a place to say 'no'.

My graphic novel is being made because I love graphic novels, and I wanted to tell this story.

If the book is consistently switching perspectives do you find it difficult to settle back into each of them?

I do too! I like seeing the world from a lot of angles, but I know a lot of people find it jarring.

This bookis already very much so NOT from a single POV, so it's already not for readers who prefer that!

But it's good to know that perspective!

like, this character has been there, but they get just one little scene from their mind.

Draft II outline is starting to take shape.

It's starting to look like a story that has all of the pieces it needs, and I'm so itchy to start writing it.

But I HAVE to finish this outline first. It has to be fully laid out before I can start writing.

I guess that's probably better than obsessing over the problem and turning it over in your head until a solution miraculously appears.
