Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.
They can't get away with this.

Labour must be so proud. Their years of failing to stand up for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers are really paying off.
They're finally getting recognised by the people whose support they've been working so hard to win over.
Green Party Councillor Tom Butcher was among Swindon Borough Councillors in attendance today at the Cenotaph, Regent Circus, to lay a wreath during the Remembrance Sunday Service.

Bunny doesn't like to get her feet muddy methinks...

26.11.2024 13:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dear Prime Minister and Chancellor, it seems you don't understand the reason that benefits cost so much.
Let me explain.
1. Wages are low and we pay firms to keep their wages low by adding in work benefits.
2. Rents are high and we pay landlords to keep rents high by giving them housing benefit.

I listened to the news bulletin on BBC radio for the first time since the election result this weekend. I've ditched the many UK, US and international politics podcasts I normally listen to every day. Sometimes you just have to prioritise your own mental well-being. I have no suggestions :-(
