How is it that I always seem to have either multiple bottles of sesame oil or none?

I’m outta coffee - both beans and instant, and it’s 36 degrees outside.

Gonna have to drink decaf and hope for the placebo effect to get me through the day!

Discovered a new strange lump on my left hand pinky finger.

Not some strange disease, just a new callous forming as I get used to holding a newer, heavier phone in one hand.

Cooking my burger patty, a small piece of sizzling beef spat, leapt from the pan, and stuck to the centre of my palm.

Weird painful place for a burn.

Turkish bread “burger” with burger, egg, bacon, cheese, tomato and lettuce, with chili sauce and mayo.

This mainly stems from my semi frequently using basil and parsley. I always end up buying them, then not using them up in time.

Basil and flat leaf parsley. I’d say chives count.

Amazing thunder in Brunswick at the moment.

Intolerable Cruelty is an underrated movie.

Challenging my preconceptions today.
When I was younger, I liked KFC Chicken and hated coleslaw in general. And so KFC coleslaw was avoided.

Now I like good coleslaw more, and KFC less, but my deep seated distrust of KFC coleslaw remains.

But tonight…I’ve decided to try it.

lol. Love it when I forget I’ve got my VPN on and I get ads before podcasts from a different country. Apparently, I shouldn’t put a ladder up against electricity poles to hang bunting supporting my football team while I’m in Ireland.

Seats were dangerously comfy, but the air conditioning was just good enough to keep me from outright falling asleep

Problem with 3pm classical music concerts on a warm afternoon is the real danger of me falling asleep.

Hope the seats are uncomfortable…

Gotta say, the new “glass only” recycling trucks make quite a pretty “tinkling” noise as they rattle down the street, shaking from side to side.

But somehow a truck full of shattered glass is a slightly queasy making concept to me…

The wonder of the internet is still that I can discover that it’s relaxing for me to watch a Scottish man trim cow’s hooves.

After several weeks of this new fixation, I now know way more about hoof trimming than a city dweller needs to.

Compliance Month at work means lots of ‘exciting’ training courses.

This fiend is following me around, intently watching me with intense excitement, as if she might jump on my back at any moment.
