Hey hi, Millennial here. This person does not speak for me.

CHP is a huge factor in California's ice occupation.

Not once has Newsom said that he opposes their involvement and personally ordered them to not aid ICE.

The ONLY time the cops stood down was when the DODGERS denied them entry to the stadium.

The thing is... If the governor says "I'm ordering the state troops to stand down" and they don't... then we can rightfully shit on the cops for being complicit.

But the governors do not seem to be doing that. Not even JB.

... The feds absolutely are waiting for 'the right excuse' to escalate even further than they already have. But letting the feds just roll over your neighborhood unopposed is stupid.

If you are personally attacked or abducted... DEFEND YOURSELF. FFS.

There seems to be a great debate about how people being invaded by ICE should handle that.

A ton of people say that any violence is giving the feds the excuse they want.

A ton of people say that nonviolence is ridiculous and complying in advance.

They're BOTH true...

Well Pritzker seems to be very against this ICE stuff, but IL state police are still very very involved. So I'm starting to think the state's governor doesn't actually control the state troopers AT all.

Containment is a great word for it.

Americans won't do this because they're more concerned about their JOBS than their politics.

Imagine telling some huge american corpo that you're not working because of a protest. Then you lose your house, your healthcare, etc.

They got it on LOCKDOWN.
