If it was good enough for Sterne in Tristram Shandy (subject of my long abandoned attempt to become a Dr) then it's good enough for me!

It's the book from last year that I keep recommending, a brilliantly written & incredibly timely story of modern folk magic, toxic nostalgia, & the difficulty of redemption.
