25.07.2025 22:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Is it a good sign that my letters to the editors are being published in my local paper though? Because this month itβs been 2/2 βΊοΈ
25.07.2025 22:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Havenβt been on here in a while but I wanted a space to share that I canβt believe itβs almost been a year since Iβve finished my dissertation and now I am finishing writing up a paper expanding on it. 07.02.2025 06:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Agree with you 100%. I came on here to shut out the noise. I want to get to stay focused and get to work. But also love seeing all the things library and archives colleagues are up to π₯Ή

Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.
Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
The web actually was a lot of fun before monetization ruined everything.

#AHA24 was a fantastic conference and itβs a shame I couldnβt be in multiple places at once π Hoping for sessions to be recorded in the future! π€πΌEither way, what a great way to start the year.

07.01.2024 19:46 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve truly missed analyzing film and media and it dawned on me - why is it so hard for me to do this with text? As an MSc student this session was such a helpful exercise.
06.01.2024 23:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really enjoyed the session βReading Beyond the Text: Expanding our Methodological Approaches to the Pastβ because it helped me go back to my film and visual culture roots in asking the right questions - esp. even within text which I still struggle with - to dig deeper. #AHA24
