Yeah. The 4 wishes (1 smoky, 2 fountain & 1 magic lamp) and magic marker I managed to acquire in between the quest and tackling Fort Ludios were nicer though, haha. This wizard is ready to ascend and I haven't even tackled Medusa yet.

3/x This smoky potion did in fact spawn a djinni, who then said to Pug "You freed me!" This chunk with Pug and the djinni happened off screen, thus the somewhat vague description. Making for a very confusing block of text :D

2/x Then, a different prisoner (named Pug) drank a potion of gain level that he happened to spawn with. In this current game, potions of gain level have the randomized appearance of "smoky" potions. Smoky potions, when drank, have a small chance to spawn a djinni.

1/x Explainer/context: I was on the final level of the Wizard quest, which contains some prisoners locked up in cells. I released one, and the prisoner said "I'm finally free!"

I did end up legit using a weapon for a bit - I found the demon lords/princes hard to take down with just fists. Probably I should have been focusing on spellcasting more. Pretty weak part of my game, I rarely play casters.

Yeah, I've never made it quite that far. Here, I got to the castle with my ascension kit pretty much sorted and the conduct intact - until I ran from one chest to the other looking for the WoW, and got frustrated with the quick travel stopping at all the item piles. So I held down "right". Sad face.

Lots of bones files and several early wishes (smoky potions of healing, 2 or 3 magic lamps) made this a really smooth early game.

This was a failed attempt at the never hit with a wielded weapon conduct (turns out you shouldn't hold down a direction key when running through the castle and wielding a pickaxe). Still a fun ascension though!

Yeah. He never occurred to me until this happened that this was a thing to watch out for it.

It didn't help that I was altar farming on a level with a polymorph trap. So the peaceful monsters were... varied. Demons and trolls and giants and elementals and such.

I punched a hostile raven into the killer bee, damaging it and angering it. So, no, but I did damage one. Thus the anger party :)

Do you think there's any chance the concept of a general strike picks up any steam among Americans? And, assuming it did and one happened, what kind of impact do you imagine it having?

I still remember that original TV commercial, with the actors in mascot costumes beating each other up. It was such a great ad imo.
