Only 3% of international climate aid going to transitioning communities: ‘This is absurd’
New report on funding to slash carbon emissions finds startlingly low engagement with the people affected
This recent report finds that renewable energy and sustainability projects are often impractical for and neglect vulnerable communities. This is not only hindering global action, but further exacerbating the inequalities of the already disproportionate consequences of climate change. #ENVSCOMM25-2

It was very interesting to learn about how this “stabilizing” effect has many negative implications. I thought the way you communicated topics like positive feedback, and connected ocean stratification to pressing issues like hurricanes and marine productivity, emphasized the urgency.

My love for animals is what sparked my passion in environmental science. Although the polar bear example can feel distant for some, a Nat Geo video of a starving polar bear was what first caught my attention as a 7th grader learning about climate change and human impact on earth. #ENVSCOMM25-2
