From Dundee to Des Plaines and everywhere in between, I’ve been out across IL-08 listening to our neighbors. The energy at our forums, town halls and on the doors is clear: people are ready to elect a fighter with a REAL plan to hold this Trump accountable and make life easier for working families.

Military kids shouldn’t be collateral damage in political culture wars. When a congressionally chartered organization like Scouting America faces pressure for being inclusive, Congress has a duty to step in. Protect our scouts. Protect our families. Protect common sense.

Congress must end the immunity shields that let ICE dodge accountability. Sovereign and qualified immunity were meant to protect good-faith officers, not promote lawlessness. I’ll fight to pierce both immunity bubbles and make ICE’s constitutional violations answerable in state court.

The FBI seizing state election records isn’t routine. It’s a stress test for federal interference in 2026. If Congress doesn’t act now to raise the bar, what happened in Georgia won’t be the last rehearsal.

Tonight, we got our answer. Gregory Bovino, the commander-at-large of U.S. Border Patrol, has been demoted.

Today we stood shoulder to shoulder with people in South Elgin and Palatine following the deadly shooting by ICE in MN. We marched to demand accountability, an end to violent enforcement, and an immigration system rooted in human dignity. Together we will keep showing up until justice is real.

Trump already tells his AG who to prosecute. Now JD Vance wants a White House-run prosecution unit with nationwide reach.

That’s a direct threat to DOJ independence.

My plan is simple: elect the Attorney General, separate from the presidency, so the DOJ answers to the people, not the Oval Office.
