Ja, das stimmt - ich bin mir immer noch unsicher, ob das mit größerer Maschenweiter besser wird, weil ich Drosseln eigentlich immer in Singvogelnetzen gefangen habe. In der Hand mag ich sie aber sehr gern.

Raptors have always been a huge love of mine. In grade school, pre-internet, I created an illustrated book about peregrines to try to convince people to "save them" (I grew up while they were endangered, and were regionally extinct).
