Confusing bird ID time: these photos are from the same day, in July, at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I think that they are both juvenile Brown-headed Cowbirds. Their feathering is completely different, tho. Is bird 1 a male, and bird 2 a female? Or is my ID wrong?
