Pep has a tendency to blow smoke to distract from whatever's going on at City - good or bad. But his comment that we're the best team in the world right now could be true. And in my lifetime, bar maybe a few weeks in 2004, I've never been able to say that.

I think Chelsea are uniquely weird, in part because, unlike City, they weren‘t gifted a stadium and also because they didn’t have the same network of fake sponsors. City would be there too without them.
