I have cancelled our subscription to the Washington Post. It's not about editorial policy; it's about the cuts to reporting staff - including firing the on-the-ground reporter in Ukraine while she is working with a pen frozen from the cold because of Russian bombardment.

I've seen M31 - back in the 1970s when I had young eyes. I never succeeded with M33. The latter is the farthest object visible unaided; but requires absolute dark skies and complete dark adaptation - and is only visible 10 degree off axis from foveal vision. Andromeda is possible in Big Sky country.
